Step back and observe before acting — this is the watchtower, the long view. The situation requires genuine understanding before any intervention. What is seen from a height cannot be seen from within; the observer who holds back from action long enough to truly see will understand what others are missing.

How it’s built
Every hexagram is two trigrams — the lower one beneath the upper. This one is Kūn below Xùn.
