The judgment
Strength held in reserve — the time to act has not yet come. Forcing it will only exhaust your resources and expose you prematurely. But this is not passive waiting; it is the quiet confidence of knowing the moment will arrive, and of being genuinely ready when it does.
The image. Clouds gather above heaven — rain is forming; wait in readiness.
Guidance
Trust the timing. Nourish yourself and stay present to signs that the moment is shifting — don't burn energy pushing at what cannot yet be moved.
How it’s built
Every hexagram is two trigrams — the lower one beneath the upper. This one is Qián below Kǎn.
