Fingon Ironweaver
the Smoldersmith Elf
Named for the golden shimmer of raw amber caught in the dusk light of his forge.
Power
Amberforging — you can shape raw amber into vessels that hold memories, but each vessel must be paid for with a memory of your own, and you never get it back.

Every dusk, you walk the same path to the ironwood grove and lay a single amber bead at the root of the oldest tree. You have done this for three hundred years, and the roots glow faintly now, like coals banked for morning. The young elves ask why. You only say that some debts are paid bead by bead, and the earth remembers longer than we do.
