Hathol Reedwind
the Bone-Sifter Elf
Hathol is the old word for the wild silver that grows like vines in the deep marshes; Reedwind is the sound the reeds make when the silver has been harvested — a hollow, dry rattle.
Power
You can step into any shadow as long as you hold a silver coin, but the coin turns black and must be spent in moonlight before dawn or it burns your palm like a brand.
- Familiar
- A silver-eyed vixen named Sleight
- House
- House Silvermarsh
You do one thing every dusk: rake the silver sand from the riverbed with your bare hands, sifting for the bones of a creature that doesn't yet exist. You have never found them, but the reeds told you to look, and you have been looking for three hundred years.
