Rael is an old wood-elf word meaning 'root-binder' and Twilightbow marks the hour when the day's last arrow pierces the horizon — named for the moment the oldest oak's shadow covers the standing stone.

you can call the earth to root an oath — anyone who breaks a promise on your ground will have their bones knit into the roots of a new oak, but each binding drains a year's growth from the surrounding grove.
