Ashling Larkbreeze
the Moonpetal Fae
Named for the bluebell that blooms only under a waning moon and the dew it holds like a promise of dawn.
Glimmerbell — you can make a single bluebell glow with the light of the full moon, and anyone who sees it is compelled to speak a secret they've never told. The bell fades at dawn, and you forget which secret was spoken.

The field behind the old barn had never grown bluebells, not in anyone's memory. Then one autumn you found a single one blooming under a crescent moon, its stalk bent as if it had been stepped on and stood back up. You knelt to touch it, and the moonlight thickened around your fingers like honey. When you stood, the world smelled of frost and the clover you'd never see again. You didn't walk away from that field — you walked into its echo.
