Heulwen Mossmote
the Thunderbloom Fairy
Heulwen means sunshine in Welsh, and Mossmote is a speck of moss; you are named for the bright flash that splits the grey sky and the seed it wakes in the soil.
Cloudsplit — you can call a single lightning strike to a specific spot, but it always leaves a seedling behind in the scorch mark, and you cannot call it twice in the same storm.

'It will not rain,' the old woman said, shaking her head. But you felt the charge in the dust, the way the air thickened around the waiting roots. You opened your palm and a green thread of electricity curled from your finger into the soil. The storm cracked open above you, and every seed within a mile answered. That was your first bargain with the sky, and you have been settling accounts for weather ever since.
