Ivor Reedlace
the Gloamfae
Named for the yew wood's heartwood and the lacing of reed stalks where moths lay their eggs before winter.
Power
You can spin a cocoon of silence from the shadows, muffling all sound and slowing time in a space no larger than a doorway. Each use leaves you breathless for an hour, and you cannot speak until the cocoon dissolves.
- Familiar
- a lanternfly nymph named Splinter
- Court
- The Umberweft Court
You were sorting buttons by weight when one began to hum. A moth's wing was stuck to the thread. You followed the sound to a dead oak, where a hole in the bark breathed like a mouth. You put your hand in and pulled out a handful of night, and the night clung to you like a second skin.
