Niamh Brambledapple
the Stormcrown Fairy
Named for the radiant queen of wild apples and the storm that shakes them from the branch.
Power
You can call a gust that carries the scent of ripened fruit—it clears a field of clouds or strips an orchard bare, but it will never touch a tree you planted yourself.
- Familiar
- a storm-petrel named Sleet
- Court
- Windfall Court
Every dusk you count the fallen apples in the hollow. One for each storm you've ridden. One for each you've let pass. The tree remembers the shape of every wind, and when you pressed your palm to its bark, the sky answered in kind.
