Vael Birchmeadow
the Cloverway Fae
Named for the valley where birch roots and clover share the same soil, and for the way the meadow's luck settles on those who wait.
Power
Clover-luck — you can tilt fortune in small ways: a dropped key lands where it's seen, a rain cloud passes, a knot loosens. But the luck must be repaid in something you value, and if you borrow too often the clover leaves turn brown.
- Familiar
- A piebald hare named Crib
- Court
- Verdant Hollow Court
The clover in the meadow always has four leaves only when you're not looking. You learned to count the fourth leaf before it appeared, and the meadow repaid your patience by letting you step between its blades without touching a single stem. From that day the clover recognized you as its keeper.
