Aziliz Starwater
the Sootwreath Siren
Named for the azalea that blooms only where scalded seawater meets cold, and for the starfall that extinguishes in the vent's glare.
Power
Ignivent Song — you can boil the water around you into a cloak of steam and cinder, but each use salts your throat with mineral crust, and your voice grows heavier with every note.
- Familiar
- a flamboyant cuttlefish named Ember
- Tide
- the Cinderfall Vent
You were prying loose a geode from a black smoker when the vent belched a plume of sulfurous ash. Your scream turned to steam and lit the plume like a torch. When the steam cleared, your hands were traced with vein-like cracks of cooled lava, and the vent seemed to hum in answer to your breath.
