Havel Driftveil
the Coralwraith Merman
Named for the film of coral dust that settles on everything in the reef, and the way it catches the light like a half-remembered song.
Power
You command the slow growth of coral, raising walls and towers from the seabed, but each command calcifies a piece of your own flesh - your skin grows brittle, your joints lock, and you are becoming what you shape.
- Familiar
- a sea urchin named Quill
- Tide
- the Polyp Current
You do not sing. You never have. The coral remembers sound, and you let it hum for you. The cost is that when you need to be heard, there is only the rasp of your own breath, and the urchin's spines pressed against your palm - a morse code of tiny pains.
