Morvan Silvershell
the Stormgraven Merman
Named for the grey-green of a winter sea (Morvan from 'mor' sea and 'van' white/pale) and the shell-gleam of the silver that runs through the scars on his arms.
Power
Stormwrack — you can pull the lightning out of a squall and drive it into a ship's mast, but the current runs through your bones and leaves you stiff as rusted iron for a day after.
- Familiar
- a hagfish named Knell
- Tide
- the Flukestorm Drift
You learned your name in the gap between two sinking hulls, when the sea asked you which of them you'd save and you answered by letting both go. The price was small: you still taste salt in everything, even fresh water.
