Ula Undergleam
the Wrecklight Siren
Named for the deceptive gleam that draws ships onto the reef, and the wild stillness before a squall.
Power
Maelstrom's Grasp — you can pull a vessel toward the rocks with a sudden funnel of wind and water, but each time you lose a piece of your own warmth, and your hands ache with salt.
- Familiar
- A hagfish named Nocturne
- Tide
- the Wild Gleam Shoal
Every dusk, you count the wrecks from the spine of the reef — the hulls of ships you have called down, each one a lantern in your memory. You do not sing to lure them. You just glow, and the glow says come closer, and they do. You have never learned to dim it, and you are not sure you would if you could.
