Thermocoral — you can coax bright, hot coral to bloom from any surface above water, but each use leaves a small black scar on your palm, and the scars do not fade.

You keep a lump of obsidian coral that still smolders when the tide is low. You found it wedged in a shipwreck's porthole, and you keep it because it reminds you that even fire can be shaped by the sea. When you hold it, you can almost hear the ship's last captain laughing.
