Florian Witherhurst
the Blossomfire Warlock
Named for the flower that blooms in ash and the hill where dead things burn.
Power
Cinderbloom — you draw the last warmth from cold embers and coax them into flower-flame, even from wet ash.
- Familiar
- A stoat named Soot
- Coven
- Ashbloom
The Tuesday it first happened, you were clearing deadwood from the hedgerow behind the tannery. Your shovel struck a flint, a single spark jumped into a pile of withered leaves, and instead of a fire, a small blue blossom of flame opened, hovering a finger's width above the ash. You knew then the heat in your chest had always been there, waiting to be named.
Where the name comes from
Florian — “flowering”.
Witherhurst — Wither (withering) + hurst (wooded hill).
