Upright
You're bound to something — a substance, a dynamic, a belief, a financial arrangement, a person — that you know isn't good for you but haven't chosen to leave. The Devil doesn't arrive when you have no freedom; it arrives when you have more freedom than you're using. The chains are loose. You could remove them. What keeps them on is comfort, fear, habit, or the story that you can't survive without this thing. Name it honestly. The naming begins the loosening.

You're becoming aware of a pattern that has had power over you, and the awareness itself is the first act of freedom. Reversed, The Devil is the moment the lights come on — when you see an addiction, a toxic dynamic, or an old shame with clear eyes. Breaking free won't happen all at once, but something has shifted. The grip is loosening. What felt inescapable is starting to look like a choice — and that recognition is more valuable than it seems right now.
Love
A relationship may be built more on fear, dependency, or compulsion than genuine connection. Or there's a shadow dynamic — jealousy, control, secrecy — that needs to be addressed directly before it does lasting damage.
Career
Money, status, or the fear of financial insecurity may be keeping you in a situation that costs you more than it pays you. A golden cage is still a cage. Identify what you're actually trading for this and whether the math still works.
Look at the thing you tell yourself you can't leave. Then look at whether that story is actually true, or just familiar.
