The judgment
Erosion has done its work — the structure is undermined from below and cannot hold. This is not the time to push forward; what needs to fall must fall. The wise person steps back rather than fighting a tide they cannot reverse, protecting what is essential until the cycle turns.
The image. Mountain rests on the earth as the base erodes — what stands above giving way.
Guidance
Don't force what is already collapsing — let the process run. What is truly solid will survive; what doesn't wasn't built to last. Protect your essentials and wait.
How it’s built
Every hexagram is two trigrams — the lower one beneath the upper. This one is Kūn below Gèn.
