The judgment
The encounter that arrives rather than being sought — something comes to meet you, uninvited. This hexagram often warns of an influence that appears promising but carries hidden risk. The single dark line enters from below and grows; what seems small can quickly become difficult to manage.
The image. Wind moves beneath heaven — subtle penetration rising into the vast and open.
Guidance
Don't be seduced by what appears advantageous but feels off. Set clear limits with what comes to meet you unbidden — welcome what is genuinely good, but don't yield your direction.
How it’s built
Every hexagram is two trigrams — the lower one beneath the upper. This one is Xùn below Qián.
