The judgment
Change that is genuine and total — the fundamental transformation of conditions, not mere adjustment. This is the hexagram of seasons turning, of what has served its time and must be replaced by what is right for what comes next. Timing and sincerity are everything; trust must be earned before action.
The image. Lake above fire — water and fire, each transforming the other, the old giving way.
Guidance
Act for change only when the time is genuinely right and the cause is clearly justified — true transformation will then be believed and followed. Earn trust first; decide after.
How it’s built
Every hexagram is two trigrams — the lower one beneath the upper. This one is Lí below Duì.
