The Cauldron

The judgment
The sacred vessel — transformation through careful cultivation. The cauldron takes raw material and refines it into nourishment for something higher. This hexagram speaks to creative work, to the refinement of resources and ideas, and to the offering of what is best in what you have to give.
The image. Fire rises over wind — sustained heat above the breath that feeds it from below.

How it’s built
Every hexagram is two trigrams — the lower one beneath the upper. This one is Xùn below Lí.
