Tindra Riverarrow
the Sparkreed Elf
Named for the day a bolt of lightning struck the river at the exact moment an arrow loosed from a child's bow pierced a reed, and the water carried the spark downstream to the village.
Power
You can call a single reed to grow at the pace of a thought, and shape it into whatever you need — a flute, a dart, a lockpick — but every reed you use this way must be planted in water before sunset, or it turns to dust.
- Familiar
- A grumpy marsh wolverine named Quill
- House
- House Reedspark
Every dusk, you wade into the same reedy bend and sing a single note, waiting for the river to answer. You have done this for two centuries, and the reeds have grown to know your voice. They part for you now, but only if you carry no anger.
