Lir Rippleglimmer
the Foamjester Merman
Named for the sea-god Lir, whose laugh made the froth, and for the glint of moonlight on a ripple's edge.
Power
Moonspray — you can shape foam into clever shapes that dance on the tide, but each figure dissolves as soon as the moon passes behind a cloud, and you must start again.
- Familiar
- a sea-slug named Fizzle
- Tide
- the Moonspill Current
You keep a single hollow sea-urchin spine, polished faint pink, because it reminds you of the joke nobody laughed at. You carry it in a pouch made of kelp-string, and when the moon is full you lay it on a flat rock and tell it stories until the foam comes to listen.
