Moonspray — you can shape foam into a mirror that shows the beholder their own death, but you must hold their gaze until the image forms, and the foam cuts your palms each time.

You will not wear crowns of coral, though the deep courts offer them — the price is always a piece of your name, and you have given away too many pieces already. Instead, you keep your throne in a grotto where the moon spills through a crack in the rock, and every night you scrub the pale coral furniture with salt until it gleams like bone. The tide that answers to you never fully retreats; it always leaves a puddle edged with silver minnows, and you watch them flash and die before dawn.
